What’s KFC Like In Malaysia?
I know it goes against all advice, but I do it anyways.
When travelling, many people tell you not to visit franchises. After all, why would you travel thousands of miles and end up eating at another McDonald’s? Everyone will tell you to try local food.
I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again.
I have visited a McDonald’s in Korea and Malaysia. Although these are popular fast food chains I can find in my own country, I feel like visiting them still gives me a unique travelling experience.
For example, I found some cute Happy Meal toys in the McDonald’s in Malaysia. They also have different items on the menu!
I wrote about it here.
It’s strange when I walk inside one of the chains. It feels familiar, yet very foreign at the same time. That’s why I like to check them out! I don’t know what to expect. I also like to see what’s different about it when I compare it to the ones I see in my home country.
